In this day of corporate take over of veterinary practices, and the related high prices and upselling of care, Central Animal Hospital is a heartwarming exception. We feel so fortunate to have found it. Other reviewers have correctly pointed out the highly competent vets and staff, the clean and well-run facility, and the thorough explanations that they take the time to provide. Honestly, I feel that I am experiencing the world depicted by 'All Creatures Great and Small:' vets that love animals and are not in it to maximize profit. More than once, we have sat on the floor with Dr. Judy Miller while she soothed our dog in the course of doing an examination. It is such a joy to watch this level of dedication and professionalism.

I switched to Dr. Samuels and Central Animal Hospital after becoming dissatisfied with the care my dogs were receiving at Jackpot Veterinary, and I only wish I had made the switch years earlier. Dr. Samuels and his team have been wonderful with my dogs. They are caring, thorough, knowledgeable, and take the time to explain things clearly. Most recently, Dr. Samuels helped me navigate the complicated process of obtaining USDA-endorsed health certificates and preparing three dogs for international travel to Europe. The requirements were complex, with strict timelines, rabies documentation, and government paperwork. Dr. Samuels carefully reviewed everything, identified potential issues before they became problems, and guided me through the entire process. I’m happy to report that we made it to Lisbon without any issues and are now traveling through Europe with happy, healthy dogs. Everything worked exactly as planned. If you’re looking for a veterinarian who genuinely cares about your pets and goes above and beyond for his clients, I highly recommend Dr. Samuels and Central Animal Hospital. My only regret is not making the switch sooner.

Best vet clinic ever! We will never go to someone else. They communicate great, very practical, affordable and care deeply about the animals. They go above and beyond on every level. They even called to Check in on our sick dog over the weekend. You will not find a better vet.
