Very compassionate veterinary. Very easy to feel comfortable around like a friend & she’s affordable. I think she would have also made a good doctor in family medicine or psychologist!

Dr. Erika Hartle came to our home today to help our sweet 16 year old chihuahua, Canela, pass peacefully, and I truly cannot say enough about the compassion, kindness, and dignity she showed our family. From the moment she arrived, Dr. Hartle met Canela exactly where she was resting comfortably on the floor in her familiar spot and approached her with such gentleness, patience, and respect. Canela was typically very wary of strangers and could be quite protective, but she showed no fear or intimidation around Dr. Hartle at all. That alone said so much about the calm, comforting presence she brought into our home. Dr. Hartle took the time to explain every step of the process to Pete and me clearly and compassionately, which brought so much peace and comfort during an incredibly difficult moment. We never felt rushed, and we always knew what was happening and what to expect. What also meant so much to us was how warm and thoughtful she was with our whole little family. She even took the time to meet our other two chihuahuas, which spoke volumes about the kind of person and veterinarian she is. That extra level of care and compassion meant more than I can put into words. Saying goodbye to Canela was heartbreaking, but Dr. Hartle made her passing peaceful, gentle, and full of love in the comfort of our home. Even after Canela passed, Dr. Hartle continued to treat her with such tenderness and respect carefully taking a paw print for us and then carrying her from our home with so much love and dignity. That meant the world to Pete and me. If you are facing the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to one of your babies, I cannot recommend Dr. Hartle enough. Having Canela pass peacefully at home, in the place where she felt safest and most comfortable, was a gift I will always be grateful for.

I was really impressed with the level of service and attention to detail with Desert Paws!! Dr. Cameron and Jessica were kind, knowledgeable, respectful, and highly skilled. I'm so grateful that our pup can receive care from them!! Having the mobile vet service is such a huge help and sense of relief. (Our pup is aging and has mobility issues.) Thank you, Desert Paws!!!😊🐾
