I run az pug life rescue
PW left a nasty review
And she is entirely wrong in her assessment
She was going to adopt a pug from us went to his vet appointment and was demanding test to be done demanding info on the pug
Being completely rude loud and unruly to everyone in the office
I have been with Rincon vista for almost 10 yrs
We do not give out info before the dog has been adopted and all test results are in
Rincon vista has always went above board to help every single pug frenchie or whatever kind of dog it is
The whole staff are animals lover their first concern is your pet
I will use them as long as I have this rescue
Personable, reliable, and reasonable pricing. So helpful and great with my Itty bitty girl, Tiffanee'
You were pushing how nice this lady was over and over again repeating that if there's any reason we want to get rid of our cat, the "nice lady" would love to adopt her. Maybe you should have focused on how you were reuniting a family instead of trying to break it apart again. I would never recommend this clinic! Home Again information is up to date. Elderly aren't stupid, she could have checked. She didn't try at all, and your excuse gets you nowhere. I would have taken it as a kindness if your staff wasn't so obscenely rude to my whole family. You guys have problems!
Response from the owner
We are happy that you have your cat back. But we must correct you! No one stole your cat! When you were asked how you lost your cat, you said, "She just got out." The cat hung out between 2-4 houses for several months, 3-4 miles from you, (how is it possible to know what a lost cat is doing for “several months”? And “several months” doesn’t add up to the accepted time line) before she chose the person who eventually took her in. The elderly person who took her in, after several months, (the woman who “took care of” a cat for nine months didn’t have an inkling to get the cat checked out before those nine months?) had no idea what a microchip even was! (but you said she came into the office “to get the cat chipped”) When we reached out to "Home Again," they informed us that the cats' microchip registrations had never been kept current (updated) and could not assure us that the information they provided, which was only a phone number, (the only required information) was accurate. We reached out to you, and a message had to be left (because you were an unknown caller-I don’t answer my phone). Yes, you did return the call. Many people with long-expired information don't return our calls. (this information has no bearing in this situation, you should really stick to the present situation) So, thank you for for calling us back. However, the reason you were asked to wait for less (more) than 1 hour was because the person who had been caring for your cat wanted to love on her and say goodbye. We are sorry if that inconvenienced you in any way, shape, or form. Where the "Selling" of your cat enters is beyond us. If that cat was being sold, no one would have done their due diligence or reached out to you! (I believe that by offering this other woman the full suite of Veterinarian vaccines, along with a chip and neuter (your office incorrectly said Aeon was a boy multiple times) you were “selling my cat” to this lady by making her pay for unnecessary procedures) By doing our due diligence, we asked who your local veterinarian for your cat was; you told us, and we then reached out to them to fully verify. We asked for a full description and vaccine history. The description matched, but the vaccines were long overdue. (vaccination status doesn’t negate ownership and does not imply negligence or abuse) The person caring for your cat, knowing she had a microchip, (knowing she belonged to someone else) still asked that the cat receive a complete health exam, and at a minimum, a rabies vaccine. (and was still allowed to direct care for an animal not owned by her.) Why did she do that? (No, I didn’t question why she did that- I questioned why YOU did that) Because the cat had been hanging around in the neighborhood for nearly 1 year. The person paid for it, and you were told that. (No, I wasn’t told that, I was told the fee was waved.) (Rabies vaccines have no longitudinal studies and the cumulative effect is unknown, however pets vaccinated “on schedule” die years before less injected pets) On a personal note- I call that “Kindness”. I would have have said thank you! Then I would have asked someone to give the person who had been caring for my cat my information so I could personally thank them. (you obviously made up your mind that I was an unfit owner and you preferred someone that you could convince to throw every medical intervention at the animal possible)-there, fixed.
I’m the owner of cielo. This is a reply to the last one, I’m at loss for trusting you guys in the first place. You mentioned getting her spayed so it wouldn’t happen again, you didn’t say it would open back up not even 24 hours later. It sucks that you guys can’t admit that you guys were in the wrong, as said in other reviews. She is not outside i’m not sure where you’re getting that from? or why you’re assuming as a “professional”. Yes you lowered the price and we appreciate it but at what cost? just to have to do it again. This isn’t an argument it’s my dogs life.
