My cat passed away. This office offered a paw print memento after I took her in and requested the handling of her remains. Once I received the paw print, I noticed the name was wrong on the label. I went in to see about correcting how her name is listed in their computer system. When I exited my vehicle, I noticed there was feces smeared into the sidewalk near the door outside. I figured it was from a dog (animal hospital and all that). I was not too upset about the feces, but I do hope they call hazardous waste removal about that. Once in the office, I see that the lobby was empty of other clients with two staff members behind the counter. Both were on the phone. Though, one of them appeared to be on a personal phone call. I stood waiting until one of them finally asked if they could help me. This paw print was now the only thing I had from my cat. Having her name listed incorrectly felt like disrespect to her memory. Maybe I am taking this too personally, but it was how I felt. The staff member said that the name was just wrong on the label. Giving me the feeling that they did not consider it a big issue. That in the future I should have better explained and specified what I wanted when next I come in grieving over a dead pet. As if anyone is clear minded when their pet dies. Being gaslit to feel that this was a mistake I made was not appreciated. Lastly, in the box with the paw print was the sticker backing for the labels leaving me to deal with the piece of trash they did not feel like handling themselves. To me not a good example of compassion or good service.

I was referred to VCA VAH through my pet insurance and had my first wellness visit as a new pet owner. From the moment we arrived, I was treated with respect, kindness, and professionalism. Greeting and welcomed. (Pairing insurance with time assurance assist and practicality) My feline was seen promptly and received a thorough wellness evaluation EXAM, along with thoughtful advice regarding her general health and vaccinations. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and reassuring throughout the visit. They even complimented her beautiful demeanor and unique breed, which was such a lovely touch. I was genuinely listened to any concern and getting great personal advice for my pet. Coupon for first visit was a wonderful example of care. Prompt response in having my pet concerns resolved. They handled my animal (cat) with awesome confidence and consideration. What a wonderful first experience. VCA truly exemplifies exceptional veterinary care through compassion, expertise, and outstanding service. I’m very grateful to have found such a welcoming place for my pet’s care. My baby Miss Porsha has been coming here for years and the staff is just wonderful Bailey is so kind so gentle with miss Porsha. My baby goes every two weeks to get an outfit change. An she also gets beak trims nail trims and Bailey is so nice with her and my baby can be very feisty 😈 and very bossy and very mean and just wanna bite. but I just wanna give a shout out to Bailey because she’s just wonderful. She is the absolute best, especially since I’m such a picky parrot Parent🦜 Thank you, Bailey your the best I also want to give a shout out to the other staff, Brenda Taylor, and there’s a few other people that I can’t remember their names but they’re awesome. As I look up discounted prices to have my 3 rescue cat's spayed, I called with excitement thinking I'd get a good deal and low and behold I was told it'd be $800 per kitten..everywhere else starts at $50..LOL
